OhMyF*ck Waffles at Wave

When I look back at on our one year anniversary(besides the time spent with my hubs obviously), one thing sticks out in my mind.

YUM!

Waffles from Wave.  I've never had anything quite light them.  Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside topped with caramelized bananas, pecans, real maple syrup and fresh whipped cream. By far the best waffles Ive ever had.  As someone who consumes frozen waffles on the reg, these babies were a real treat.

Besides for the ohmyf*ck waffles, the all-stars for me were Rudy's Chilaquiles(I ate around the house-made chorizo) and just the overall vibe of Wave.  I think it had something to do with the sweet signature scent of the W in the air and the way the staff made us feel right at home.

As we sat and sipped on the sea of hangover helpers, we couldn't help but zone out with our eyes glued on the lake.  I'm assuming mass amounts of champagne the night before had nothing to do with it.  All the eats and drinks coupled with outstanding service and the farm to fork approach that I adore made for an unforgettable experience.

Have you been to Wave for breakfast?  If so, what'd you think?
