Have you heard you heard the saying "You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl"? My recent trip to Key West made me realize a little something about myself. As much as I love being wined and dined, I've come to realize that as long as there is good food I don't need perfectly crisp linens and ten thousand silverware switch outs.
Case in point: Blue Heaven
This place was by far my favorite place to eat on the island. We adored the laid back style and you literally feel like you are in someone’s backyard – equipped with chickens and roosters freely roaming around.
Not only was the food simple and flavorful, everything down to the bloody mary mix was made from scratch.
If you are in the mood for an eclectic atmosphere, amazing food, and generously poured drinks, this is the place for you. Hurry, book a flight to the Keys, I promise its worth the trip!
While vacationing, what draws you to a restaurant?
