Welp my fiends. The Super Bowl fun is over and I'm not even going to pretend like I remember or even ever knew who won. What I do remember is the buffalo chicken poppers
These little bundle of joys came together in less than 20 minutes and were out of this world . I will admit that I am not a big fan of dips - the whole thought of several peoples hands scooping around in dips kind of freaks me out so when the soon-to-be-hubs requested buffalo chicken dip as a game day snack - I cringed a little. To keep the buffalo dip obsessed Migs and the anti-dipper in me both happy theses lil poppers worked perfectly.
Lets cut to the recipe
- 1/2 8 0z 1/3 the fat cream cheese
- 1/4 c. Frank's buffalo sauce
- 1/4 c. reduced fat ranch
- 1/2 c. canned chicken(I used Valley Fresh)
- 1/2 c. shredded chihuahua cheese
- 1 package reduced fat crescent rolls
Combine all ingredients but the rolls. Unroll the 8 rolls and cut each in half to make 16 triangles. Drop a spoonful of the mixture onto dough and wrap together so the mixture is enclosed(its okay if there a small spaces and not completely sealed).
Bake for 10 minutes and out comes buffalo chicken dip wrapped in a buttery flaky crescent rolls. Now don't wait until next year to try em!
