Twirling for Meera: A fun event for a good cause
My friend Kristen at Baby Take a Bow asked me to share some info with you on behalf of a Chicago family dealing with a very difficult situation. Baby Take a Bow is working with the family of one of the studio’s first young dancers, 4-year-old Meera, to fight what remains of a brain tumor. Meera is now enduring chemotherapy and radiation, and looking at a long road of rehab to regain her motor skills. Meera’s family and Baby Take a Bow hope that, with some help, she will be walking—and dancing—again soon. Baby Take a Bow will host Twirling for Meera, a fundraising event, on Sunday, August 12, to help ease the financial burden for Meera’s family...
