You know the double decker buses full of tourists that you see all over Chicago during the summer? Ever think that it would be fun to hop aboard one of these sightseeing tours to play tourist in your home town? We did it. And I can tell you that it IS indeed fun to be a tourist in your own city. Last Friday, my kiddos and I took the Chicago Trolley & Double Decker Company's Signature Hop On/Hop Off Sightseeing Tour. The weather was truly perfect and I thought that this would be a fun "back-to-school" outing for my little Chicagoans. We started at Millennium Park. Once we grabbed prime seats on the upper level, we were able to see the city from a unique vantage point. This tour is designed to allow riders to hop on and off at thirteen different stops throughout the city. Were we truly tourists, this would be an awesome way to see a ton of sights in one day while keeping transportation costs low...
