Make Fireworks in a Jar for the 4th of July

Make Fireworks in a Jar for the 4th of July

July is all about fireworks. Some kids love the colorful and loud explosions in the sky around the Fourth of July weekend. Other kiddos aren't so sure about this noisy annual tradition.

Regardless of whether or not your kids are fans of the real thing, you can work together to re-create the bursts of cascading color we see with fireworks displays by using a few basic ingredients you likely already have in your cabinets.

Check out the full instructions to this simple craft project in the June issue of Chicago Parent Magazine.

And Happy 4th of July to you and your little revelers!
