Earlier this summer, we had the chance to check out the new Family Day offerings from the Chicago White Sox (boy, did we have a blast).
Have you made it to a White Sox game yet this summer? No? Well, this week is the perfect time to make a visit to U.S. Cellular Field! The White Sox have a new promotion coming up for the 4th of July holiday that I wanted to tell you about.
On July 2nd, 3rd and 4th, the White Sox are proud to present "Food, Fireworks and Fun." The three game series vs. Baltimore will feature specially-priced menu items, including dollar hot dogs, and specially-priced tickets, accompanied by various fan entertainment and an extended firework show. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the holiday in an affordable and family-friendly environment.
This special Independence Week promotion, will feature a tiered menu of ballpark food items for $1, $2, $3 and $4 on 100 and 500-levels. Food items in each tier will include:
- $1 - Premium pork hot dog
- $2 - Popcorn bucket or popcorn megaphone
- $3 - Vienna beef dog and Polish sausage, Bobak's bratwurst, Italian sausage, jalapeno-cheddar sausage, Dippin Dots and Lemon Chill
- $4 - Hamburger or souvenir Pepsi soda cup
The Club Level (300-level) at U.S. Cellular Field will feature the following specially-priced food items: $2 popcorn or ice cream novelties; $3 Vienna beef dog or bratwurst; and $4 hamburger or soda.
On Wednesday, July 3, fans have the opportunity to enjoy an Independence Day celebration featuring an extended fireworks display, set to patriotic music, at the conclusion of the game, presented by FirstMerit Bank.
Additionally, there will a patriotic-themed pregame parade before the start of the game on Thursday, July 4. The first 1,800 fans who arrive at Gate 1 are welcome to participate in the parade that will make its way around the warning track of U.S. Cellular Field. Fans are asked to wear red, white and blue in celebration of Independence Day and will be provided mini-American flags.
Tickets are available now and fans should visit whitesox.com, call (866)-SOX-GAME or visit the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office to purchase tickets. In combination with the specially-priced ballpark food, tickets for the series start as low as $15 in the Lower Level and $7 in the Upper Level.
Sounds like a pretty good way to ring in the 4th, doesn't it?
