Stages, Sights & Sounds: A Fab Cultural Opportunity for the kiddos

Have you heard about  Stages, Sights & Sounds? This unique event is an international performing arts festival for families (and theatergoers of any age really). The festival showcases fresh, original work from Europe and Canada that you won’t see anywhere else. The festival is in its thirteenth year and runs May 2–12, 2012 at venues in Chicago and Evanston.

Stages, Sights and Sounds is unique because  it offers entertaining and appropriate performances for kids and adults alike and attracts everyone from families to a list of who's who in Chicago's culture and arts scene.

The opening night celebration will take place on Thursday May 3 at 7PM at the MCA debuting The Postman from the French Vélo Théâtre.

Check out the full listing of performances and get more info on purchasing tickets by visiting the website.  The site even makes it easy by letting you set a filter for "family friendly" as you search for events.

Definitely a great chance for the whole family to take advantage of the amazing cultural opportunities right here in our hometown.
