A Free, Family Event at Building Blocks Toy Store

When it comes to buying birthday presents for the parties that my kids are invited to a near-weekly basis, I rely on Building Blocks Toy Store. I walk in, chat up one of the helpful salespeople, tell them the age and gender of the child I am buying for and I am out the door with a fantastic present (all wrapped up) in less than 10 minutes.

This place rocks.

My kids obviously think so too (and beg me to go there just they can play with all of the awesome toys and games lining the walls).

On Saturday, September 24th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., families are invited to come out to Building Blocks Wicker Park location (2130 W. Division) for a free family event in honor of the store's 15th anniversary.

The line-up includes an appearance by the infamous Elmo, face painting, a prize wheel, temporary tatoos, and musical entertainment courtesy of the Poochamungas. Attendees will also enjoy generous (I mean, super generous) giveaways.

This is good, ol' free, family fun, my friends. Opportunities like this don't come along every day. Visit Building Block's Facebook Page for more details.
