Wee Windy City Winter Survival Guide: Shenanigans!

So imagine this. It is Saturday afternoon. We are enduring yet another day of single digit temps in Chicago. Your kids are going bonkers -- and so are you. What do to? What do to? Wait -- did this happen at your house today too?

The good news is that Chicago families have another wonderful option for those chilly Saturday afternoons. The folks behind the popular Ankle Todd Show have a new production called "Shenanigans!"

This show is a modern madcap variety vaudeville show intended to amuse
the entire family (yes, even Daddy). Each performance includes sketch
comedy, music, dance, and special guests -- think "The Jack Benny Show"
-- but for kiddos.

The show takes place at Stage 773 (1225 W. Belmont, Chicago) on Saturday
afternoons at 4:00 p.m. Shenanigans opened today and runs through March
26, 2011. Tickets are $7 for kids, $9 for adults. Visit the website for
more details.

Totally putting this on our winter-must-do list.
