Halloween happenings here, there, and pretty much everywhere

Halloween craziness is in full swing for our family. We've got school Halloween events, neighborhood Halloween activities, plus family Halloween get-togethers. Our schedules are packed.

In the event that you are looking for a few Halloween events and activities to add to your calendars, I though I would do a quick round-up post about some of the best options out there.

Whatever you've got planned, I hope you have a great Halloween week with your little ghosts and ghouls.

If you know of other great Halloween events taking place in the coming week, leave a comment and tell us all about it.

  • It's always fun to see the University of Chicago Symphony Orchestra in full costume at the Annual Halloween Concert. This year, the ensemble is joined by the Hyde Park School of Dance for "Witches of Yore" conducted by Barbara Schubert. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 7 PM and 9 PM in Mandel Hall (1131 East 57th Street, on the University of Chicago campus). The audience dresses in costume too! It's a lot of fun. music.uchicago.edu/events

I remember writing about this event last year! Sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for adding it to the list.
