My little boy loves all forms of transportation. Planes, dump trucks, fire trucks, trains -- these varied modes of transport absolutely delight him. So the idea of Santa Claus riding the "L" train is just about the best thing he's ever heard.

The Chicago Transit Authority is once again thrilling Chicago children with the Holiday Train. This six-car train is decorated inside and out. But the best part is that Santa rides in an open car, waving to commuters as the train passes by.
The Holiday Train made its first trip of the season this weekend. It will run on all of the various lines through December 23rd. Check out the full schedule here.
