On Sunday, November 8, families can participate in a "Turkey Trot" to raise money for the Kohl Children's Museum in Glenview (which is a wonderful local resource for families by the way).
The 3rd annual "Turkey Trot" promises fun for the whole family. Participants will walk a course around Habitat Park (the museum's outdoor exhibit). The kiddos will be assigned a runner number, receive stickers for each lap they run and a golden turkey trophy to take home.
The morning also features live entertainment by Stand and Clap, arts and crafts, and breakfast goodies. Plus, they are going to have a bouncy house (my kids would pretty much go anywhere for the opportunity to play in a bouncy house).
All attendees can access the Museum for free all day. Families can register in advance at the website for $35. Tickets will be sold at the door for $45 per family.
My little turkeys will be trotting at this event. Will yours?
