Halloween costume portraits

So after much discussion, I think that we have finally figured out our Halloween costumes for this year.

My daughter is going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz -- despite the fact that she has never seen the movie and doesn't know much about the story. This decision is all about the opportunity to wear sparkly red shoes and carry a small dog in a basket.

My three-year-old son is dressing up as a fireman (as he does most days). And the baby is going to be his Dalmatian puppy. Cute, right?

In order to capture all of this Halloween magic, I made appointments for my kiddos to have portraits taken in their costumes. I love this idea and wanted to share the details with you in case you wanted to schedule appointments for your little ghosts and ghouls.

On Saturday October 31, Jennifer Bisbing of Generation Jennifer is offering Halloween portraits in her Wicker Park studio. For $20, you get a 5x7 photograph of your little one all decked out in his costume.

I had the opportunity to be photographed by Jennifer as part of her Wicker Women Project and I have become fond of her work. I can't wait to see her photographs of my little ones.

See the details above to schedule your appointment.
