Blogapalooza is coming up in just two days. I'm getting pretty excited about the whole thing.
I've received a few questions about the event and I thought I would answer them here.
Is Blogapalooza going to be anything like Lollapalooza? Nope.
What's in this for my kid? Well, first there is the face painting (your kid loves this too, right?). Then on to the scavenger hunt sponsored by Oilily, Mini Me, Preggers and Galt Toys. I also have cookies from Potbelly's. Plus, I am giving away free passes and discount coupons to Day Frog, a really great indoor play space that your kids would love to visit.
On top of all that, I am going to be talking about the 5 can't-miss family events taking place in Chicago this fall.
What's in this for me? Cooking demos, wine tastings, makeovers, fitness demos, shoe shines and more. It isn't often that you stumble across all of this fun, FREE stuff to do.
Isn't this event taking place when most kids are at home eating dinner and getting ready for bed? Yes. This is a great point. I have a few possible solutions for you. Either plan to stop by right at 5:00 when the event begins and then head home for dinner. Or take the kids to Potbelly's for chicken noodle soup or a pb& j (that's where my kids will likely be having their dinner with their Daddy).
Are the cookies only for the kids? No. Well-behaved and friendly adults can also have a cookie.
See you Thursday? I'll be on the 5th floor.
