Let your kids decide what's for dinner

Let your kids decide what's for dinner

A friend recently gave me the best tip when I complained to her about the daily struggle to figure out what's for dinner.

She told me to create a private Pinterest page for each child under my account.  Then they can go on Pinterest and pin the recipes that they want to eat.

I then request they write me a grocery list with the ingredients needed and either help me make dinner or depending on age can prepare the meal by themselves.  I am obviously on cloud nine for getting the night off from cooking and am happy to teach independence to my offspring.

Thus far we have had teriyaki chicken bowls, chicken parmesan sliders, broccoli and beef and chicken avocado burritos.

Do you let your children have a say in what's for dinner?
