Friday Favorites: Empathy Cards, Green Laundry Detergent and FrameBridge

Friday Favorites: Empathy Cards, Green Laundry Detergent and FrameBridge

Happy Friday!  I hope all you moms have a peaceful weekend.  But, first I wanted to share some of my favorite things that have been making me happy these past few weeks.

I love, love, love these cards by Emily McDowell.   McDowell created empathy cards because most of us struggle to find the right words in the face of a friend or loved one’s major health crisis, whether it’s cancer, chronic illness, mental illness, or anything else. Have you ever wanted to do something for your sick friend but not sure what to say?

MyGreenFills.com are hypoallergenic, non-toxic and 100% all natural green products that get your clothes clean.  The best part is you don't need to continue to buy wasteful plastic containers.  You simply add a refill and water.

In one year, the United States alone uses enough jugs to circle the planet SIX TIMES, most of which never get recycled and end up in the ocean, polluting our beaches and killing animals.  With MyGreenFills.com, they’ll send you the LAST laundry jug you’ll ever own!

The company also has non toxic sunblock and bug repellent that I am super excited to use on my kids (and myself) this summer. For more information about MyGreenFills.com click here.

Speaking of cleaning and stains that happen on the go, Dreft Portable Pretreater Pen can be used to scrub out stains before they have a chance to set. I keep this in my purse because my kids inevitably get mustard on their new white shirt or I am spilling coffee.

FrameBridge is a genius idea for those who can not make it to the frame store.  I've had these photos for over two years sitting on my desk ready to frame. Framebridge sent me packing materials to send my photos to them and quickly resent my framed photos.  The process was fast and easy and now I have two new faces on my wall.  What am I going to frame next?

My son would eat an entire pizza if we let him.  I am trying to explain to him about portions and to stop eating before he has hit his limit.  Kidliga is a creative way to teach kids about portions using fancy porcelain dinnerware (it comes in blue too).  I love that the plate, bowl and cup arrives with a book called Sammie & Sax in the Land of Quinoa that explains about healthy eating and portion control.

This is the easiest, most delicious kid-friendly Spring Pasta from A Cup of  Jo.

What are your favorite things these days?  I love to hear what products you are loving.

Other Friday Favorite you might enjoy: Leggings, French Fries, Jewelry and Eye Pillows and Sneakers and Toothbrushes.
