Healthy Snack Idea: Honey Cinnamon Chickpeas

I have a bad habit of snacking after a long day.

Therefore I am on a hunt for healthy snack options that I don't have to feel guilty about gobbling up in front of the television.

These Honey Cinnamon Chickpeas might change your life.  They are sweet, but salty, crunchy yet light.  Best of all I can polish them off with zero guilt and weight gain.

This snack is filled with good for you ingredients.  Chickpeas provide your daily amount of fiber and contribute to healthy digestive health.  Cinnamon is an anti viral, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory spice.  Honey boosts the immune system and aids in weight loss.

Even better these addicting treats are filling and will leave you satisfied.

Honey Cinnamon Chickpeas

1 can of chickpeas

1 tsp olive oil

1 tsp honey

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp sea salt


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Drain, rinse and dry chickpeas.


Bake in oven for 45 minutes until crunchy.  Remove from oven and add oil, honey, cinnamon and salt and mix.


Place back in oven for five minutes and serve warm.
