Oil pulling has been used for thousands of years as an Indian folk remedy. The concept is putting a teaspoon of oil in your mouth and swishing it around for 5 to 20 minutes. The toxins are released from your mouth and body into the oil.
It is important not to swallow the oil and toxins and is best to spit in the garbage instead of into a sink or toilet as it can clog pipes and drains.

When I first tried oil pulling, my initial reaction was to swallow or spit it out. Once I relaxed and began breathing out my nose, I got comfortable swishing it around and kept it in for 10 minutes.
After I was done I could not get over how clean my mouth felt. I did not want to put anything in my mouth for a long time afterwards.
The hardest part for me is not talking while swishing, so I do it after I drop my kids at school.
Every day gets easier and you will notice more benefits. My teeth are whiter, I have more energy and even my skin seems clearer.
