Cinnamon Raspberry Walnut Oatmeal with Chia Seeds

Cinnamon Raspberry Walnut Oatmeal with Chia Seeds
Breakfast and I went through a little dry spell. I never felt hungry in the morning because I was overeating at night because I hadn’t eaten enough during the day and this cycle continued. Part of the problem was I never really knew what I was in the mood for in the morning.  My Facebook... Read more »

BP Spills Oil in Lake Michigan: Do you drink tap water?

BP Spills Oil in Lake Michigan: Do you drink tap water?
I do sometimes. We have filtered water on our fridge and honestly it is pretty slow.  In the morning when I’m rushing to get the kids off and to school I sometimes quickly fill two glasses of water from the sink.  My kids call it sewer water.  Essentially it is and more. Meatless Monday: Bibimbap with Quinoa and Tofu

Meatless Monday: Bibimbap with Quinoa and Tofu
My first bibimbap experience was with my co-worker, actually I think she was my boss, in the days I worked in advertising pre kids and yoga. Do we all struggle with our weight?

Do we all struggle with our weight?
I’ve been reading Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach and keep coming across a common theme.  I am never completely accepting of my body. Meatless Monday: Tzatziki

Meatless Monday: Tzatziki

My kids don’t drink milk and eat very little dairy.  Yogurt is the one dairy product that I encourage them to occasionally eat. According to Web MD: “Your... Read more »
