Frozen is the anthem of winter 2014

We saw the movie Frozen early in the winter, before we knew how cold this season would ultimately be.  Did Disney foreshadow the polar vortex or was the movie a product of perfect timing?

I wonder this as I spend countless hours belting out the tunes of the soundtrack with my daughter.

You might have been next to us in your car and smiled (or possibly rolled your eyes) as we sang out, "Let it go."

In actuality, we sound more like these cuties.

I listen to words we are singing and hope my daughter understands she can be herself.

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know

Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go

Our other favorite song is "Do you want to build a snowman."  It is fun and playful.

As much as we girls in the house are loving the winter of "Frozen," I know my son and husband are patiently waiting for us to move on to our next soundtrack.

What are you listening to at your house?
