KickSprout and Soulistic Studio Partner for Prenatal Yoga

KickSprout and Soulistic Studio Partner for Prenatal Yoga

I've always said how much I wish I had a support group when my son was born six years ago.  Leasa Navarro felt the same way when her daughter was born two years ago and KickSprout began.

KickSprout was created to help expectant and new parents connect with a community of other families, provide face-to-face events and online educational workshops taught by local experts on a range of topics, and help parents discover the best baby products for their new family. Check out some of their upcoming happenings.

KickSprout is partnering with Soulistic Studio & Spa for the prenatal yoga class that I teach on Wednesday evenings. The class is a safe and gentle approach for women in all trimesters of pregnancy to practice yoga and prepare for labor and delivery. A great way to relax, stretch and meet some expectant mama friends.

This class focuses on body alignment, basic breathing techniques, posture, and form, while achieving familiarity of traditional Hatha Yoga. The class promotes concentration, flexibility, strength and endurance while quieting the mind and preparing for labor and birth. Poses may be modified for each woman’s individual comfort.

Date: Class meets the 4th Wednesday of every month

Time: 7:15pm (75min Class)

Location: Soulistic Studio & Spa – Chicago & Milwaukee Ave (map it)

Cost: $10*; Special kickSprout rate (originally $20)! Pay upon arrival. Sign up below to be added to the list or join us that evening.

* $10 price is valid for first class only. Subsequent classes will be charged at $15, a reduced rate from the original $20 class fee

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need more information.  I know some are nervous to attend their first class, but I can tell you the smiles and sense of peace on each ladies face when they leave the room let me know they are glad that they came.

From my own personal experience; prenatal yoga was the highlight of both of my pregnancies and the beginning of creating the connection between me and my children.

I hope to see you at class!
