"It's important, there's no question" said Brian Kelly of his
recruiting plans at Notre Dame this weekend as the Fighting Irish
welcome Michigan to South Bend.

Only two high school seniors will be making their official visits
to Notre Dame this weekend but the talent of the two is very strong.

Wayne Lyons (Dillard High School, Fort Lauderdale, FL) ranks as the 6th best safety on scout.com
and will make his official visit to Notre Dame on Saturday.  Lyons is
listed at 6'1'', 190 pounds, and is given a 4-star rating on the same
website. His other official visits for the during the 2010 season are
set for UCLA next weekend and at Nebraska on October 29th.

Stephon Truitt (Monroe High School, Monroe, GA) ranks as the
nations 16th best defensive end on Scout.com and will be joining Lyons
in visiting South Bend this weekend.  Tuitt is listed at 6'5'', 252
pounds and is said to be the "stereotypical rush-end".  Tuitt has no
other official visits listed lined up as of yet this regular season but
has taken visits already to Georgia Tech, Clemson, Auburn, and
Tennessee.

It doesn't seem at this time that either are likely to be making
any verbal commitments anytime real soon but let's hope a solid showing
on the field and a win by the Irish leave a strong lasting impression on
both Lyons and Truitt.
