Through work I received a copy of Pete Carroll's book earlier this week and as a result I am learning how to properly "Win Forever".  It's amazing how playing dumb and running from the scene of a crime can get you to the next level in your given profession...

Speaking of ole' Pete, former Notre Dame wideout Golden Tate has reached a deal with the Seattle Seahawks that will pay him $3.621 million over the next four years.  The deal came with a one million dollar signing bonus which brings his guaranteed money from the deal to $1.471 million.

Tate goes down as a fan-favorite in Notre Dame history after winning the Belitnikoff Award last season as the nation's best wide receiver as he caught 93 balls for 1496 yards.  His career totals at Notre Dame include 159 receptions, 2707 yards, and 26 touchdowns.

Personally, Golden Tate ranks damn near the top of my list of favorite Notre Dame players to watch play since I became a fan in the very early 90's.  Despite the 16-21 record over his three years in a Notre Dame uniform he was electric and as exciting to watch as anyone when the ball was in his hands.

Golden joins fellow former Domers John Carlson and Julius Jones in Seattle.  You can follow him on twitter at @ShowtimeTate.

Notre Dame fans will remember Tate for many things over the past three seasons;  enjoy the photo gallery below of Golden's time on the Fighting Irish.
