Jimmy Clausen Getting Love??

By: Nick Shepkowski and 670 The Score

It seems that all we have heard about Jimmy Clausen is that he is not a leader, he isn't tall enough to be worth a damn in the NFL, he didn't do anything at Notre Dame, or he has a sense of entitlement.  Finally, I have found some support in my defense of Clausen.

I have said since midway through the 2009 season that Clausen will be a starting quarterback in the NFL for a good number of years as long as he avoids injury.  He was more developed at Notre Dame than Brady Quinn was and his off the field issues don't bother me whatsoever.

Joseph Hoffman of WalterFootball came up with an excellent defense of Jimmy Clausen, one very thorough as to why #7 didn't have the same success at Notre Dame that many felt he should have had.  You can read that article here.

It's good to find someone else out there that supports Clausen as a potential pro, I know most Notre Dame fans do as well but the hate that is put on him by much of the national media can drive you crazy at times.
