With Derek Anderson recently being cut by the Browns, things were looking up for a change for Brady Quinn in Cleveland...that is until rumors have come out that the Browns are also trying to shop the former Notre Dame quarterback and possibly bring in Jake Delhomme, formerly of the Carolina Panthers.

It is safe to say that Brady Quinn's career has been a disappointment since he left South Bend.  Quinn was projected as an early first round pick in the spring of 2007, instead he fell all the way to 22nd where the Browns traded picks with the Dallas Cowboys to take the former Heisman Trophy finalist.

Quinn has appeared in only 14 games over 3 seasons with the Browns, completing 66.8% of his passes for 1902 yards.  He has thrown only 10 touchdown passes in that time, an average of .71 touchdown passes per game.

The Browns also traded for former Iowa State highlight maker Seneca Wallace to partake in the quarterback carousel, Wallace was quoted as saying he thinks he will be the Browns starting quarterback in 2010.

So now the fun begins of playing the "where will Brady Quinn end up?" game.  A couple of options here:

Kansas City Chiefs
:  These rumors are sure to come out despite the Chiefs overspending for Matt Cassel last offseason.  Charlie Weis being the Chiefs offensive coordinator will spark these rumors, even if the Chiefs don't ever actually pursue Brady...

Carolina Panthers:  This is a bad quarterback situation, we saw the degression of Jake Delhomme over the past couple of seasons and Panthers fans know Matt Moore isn't the answer.

Arizona Cardinals:  Kurt Warner has retired, that leaves the Cards with Matt Lienart as the starting quarterback.  Tough to imagine back in 2005 that these two both wouldn't be highly regarded whatsoever in the NFL, let alone on an NFL roster.  The Cardinals recent trade of Anquan Boldin gives them a couple of more expendable draft picks as well.

St. Louis Rams
:  Marc Bulger is on the back nine of his career, in fact quickly approaching the 18th hole.  Kyle Boller won't be back and the Rams hold the first pick in this years draft.  If the Rams hope to win over their fan base with a big move they could potentially take either of the top two defensive tackles at the #1 pick while still trading for Quinn and bringing in a quarterback that so many feel is necessary in St. Louis.

Seattle Seahawks:  Brady Quinn play for Pete Carroll?  It seems like a stretch but the Seahawks have an ever-aging quarterback in Matt Hasselbeck.  With Seneca Wallace now departed for the Browns, could the teams perhaps make another deal to send Quinn to Seattle in hopes of him one day taking over for Hasselbeck?  Could Mike Holmgren's ties to Seattle make this potential move work?

Will Brady stay in Cleveland or will Mike Holmgren successfully trade him to another club?  These are all speculation but after further examination they make sense (to some degree, not necessarily great sense).  I want Brady Quinn to succeed as a former Golden-Domer but the hopes of him being an all-pro like so many thought during his time at Notre Dame seem to have gone far away.

However, one thing continues to go right for #10...
