Being Thankful for Religious Zealots

I’m thankful I had the great good fortune to be born in this country, even at this point in it’s history. We have our problems, many of which are polarizing the nation. But, because of the foresight of our Founding Fathers and the multitudes who have come to our shores throughout the generations, we have... Read more »

Iraqi Refugee Bombs Social Security Office Not Charged With Domestic Terrorism
This headline should be plastered across every TV screen in the country, but I’ll bet most people have no idea to what I am referring. On Friday, November 30th, 2012 Abdullatif Ali Aldosary, an Iraqi refugee and American felon, placed an improvised explosive device, aka IED, at a government building in downtown Casa Grande, Arizona, a town... A Word to Muslim Rioters

I’ve studied Islam and the Arab world and the politics of the region for more than 25 years. Denise Williams

Born and bred in Chicago, now living in the wilds of far suburbia. I'm a Gold Star Mom, a wife and step-mom to two terrific boys. My views are generally politically and socially conservative, though I am far from a Party line Republican. I believe in this country, our Constitution and above all, in the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I believe our government is supposed to serve the people, not tell them how to live. To me, this is just common sense, but since it seems to be a minority opinion, it has become "Uncommon Sense".
