Creator of the Playboy logo and 90 artists to be featured in Chicago's Ukrainian Village

Over 90 artists and designers will be featured in the Chicago’s Bauhaus Legacy exhibition at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art.

The exhibit will showcase works of art and design created from 1937 to the present by students of the New Bauhaus and its successor schools, the School of Design in Chicago and the Institute of Design.

Playboy bunnyThe vast majority of of the exhibit is work that has never been publicly shown.

Among others, Art Paul, the 1st art director of Playboy and creator of the world-famous bunny logo, will be at the opening reception and his works will be on display.

Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, August 9, 6-9 p.m. and feel free to invite your friends!

The event is free and open to the public. Of course, donations are always welcome and will support the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, a non-profit gallery in the heart of Chicago's Ukrainian Village that preserves and promotes modern and contemporary art as an expression of the Ukrainian and American experience.

I'm honored to announce that I've been invited to join the Board of Directors of this renowned institution and I view this as another great opportunity to contribute to the Ukrainian community of Chicago.

Hope to see you enjoying the Chicago's Bauhaus Legacy on Aug 9 and many other outstanding exhibitions and events in the future!
