Ukrainian Debutante Ball Was Held in Downtown Chicago

The Chicago's traditional Ukrainian banquet and ball with presentation of the 2013 debutantes took place last Saturday at a fabulous venue, Grand Ballroom of the Palmer House in downtown.

The black tie event attracted arguably the most elegant, yet uninhibited about dancing, Ukrainian American crowd that fascinatedly greeted the gorgeous debutantes from three states, Illinois, Washington, and Minnesota.

The ball was organized by The Foundation of the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA) and all proceeds benefit projects directed at improving medical knowledge and healthcare of Ukrainians worldwide.
