Trip to the Morton Arboretum provides parenting lessons

My husband, tween and I headed to the Morton Arboretum for a fall adventure. I expected to take in fall colors, but what really surprised me was how Mother Nature reminded me of many parenting truths. Often, the most important of life's lessons, and parenting lessons, are the ones that are often the most obvious but also the easiest to forget. Our outing provided me a much-needed refresher course on Tween Parenting 101.
