We were fed very well during the past week. Originally I was thinking, 'Chinese food," I'll lose weight. But I'd forgotten we would eat as a group and in traditional Chinese style we would be fed one dish for each of us. That meant 12 dishes at each meal. And although we only took a little of each dish, it became a great deal. There would be a pork dish, a beef dish, chicken, vegetable, a dumpling of some sort, and at that point we would lose track as each dish is brought out.
Last night we went to a dumpling banquet. 12 different kinds of dumplings. We drank them down with Chinese beer. And left this local restaurant feeling full and satisfied.
