Chicago Bandits' "Battle of the Sexes" comes to Crestwood
Can the women beat the men again? Methinks they can!

From our friends at the Chicago Bandits:

The Chicago Bandits and the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League are proud to announce the second annual “Battle of the Sexes” fastpitch softball game at Standard Bank Stadium (14011 Kenton Ave.) in Crestwood, Ill. on Monday, June 15 at 7:05 p.m.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. to allow fans to view batting practice.

The exhibition game is a rematch of last year’s battle which saw the Bandits score seven runs in the fourth inning en route to an 8-0 shutout of the Thunderbolts. Windy City managed just one hit against the Bandits pitchers.

Last year’s Battle of the Sexes exhibition game was the first for the Bandits since 2011 and they didn’t disappoint, improving their record against men from various professional baseball teams to 5-1. Members of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) since 2005, the Bandits have packed local ballparks throughout the area during these games and are excited to bring this great event back to the Southside for another year.

Individual tickets for the Battle of the Sexes game start as low as $12 while youth softball teams that purchase group or fundraiser tickets have the opportunity to be on the field while the Bandits take batting practice.

For more information or to purchase tickets for the Battle of the Sexes game, contact the Windy City Thunderbolts at 708-489-2255 or visit them online at www.wcthunderbolts.com.

Tickets for all 2015 Bandits games are on sale now. For more information about the Chicago Bandits, or to purchase tickets, visitwww.chicagobandits.com.
