FROM THE DESK OF THE CHICAGO SKY'S MEDIA RELATIONS OFFICE COMES THIS PRESS RELEASE:

The Chicago Sky (15-17) has clinched a berth in the 2014 WNBA Playoffs presented by Boost Mobile. It is the Sky's second consecutive playoff appearance. In the 2013 season, the Sky earned the first WNBA Playoff berth in franchise history after finishing the season atop the Eastern Conference with a 24-10 record. Entering the 2014 post season with a full roster Sky coaches, players and fans alike believe that this is our moment.

"We are ready!" said Sky guard Epiphanny Prince. "We have fought through adversity all season long, but this is our moment and we are focused on bringing a WNBA Championship to the fans in Chicago."

Tickets to see the Chicago Sky in the first, second and final rounds of the 2014 WNBA Playoffs are on sale now. The final seeding, parings, dates and times will not be determined until the conclusion of the regular season on Sunday, August 17, 2014.

The Chicago Sky close out the 2014 regular season against the Indiana Fever in Indianapolis on Saturday, August 16, with tip-off set for 6:00pm CT and then return home to Allstate Arena to host the San Antonio Stars on Sunday, August 17 at 5:00pm CT.

Both games will air locally on The U Too HD (Channel 230 for Comcast subscribers, channel 48.1 for over-the-air viewers) and WNBA LiveAccess.
