With a little more than ten weeks before reaching a major milestone birthday (insert a dramatic shudder here), I've become extremely reflective of the choices I've made in my life.
Don't misunderstand -- I'm not unapologetic about any of them . Instead, I find myself thinking about how the last few years of my life have been. And more importantly... What the heck did I learn?
And that's what led me writing down my relationship mistakes -- of the romantic, familial and friendship kind... All of which are actually pretty common... But seem like the end of the world when you're in them.
In any case, I soon realized these were bloopers were more than just mistakes -- they're things I can learn from. And ones that make a person smarter. Of course, no one is a know it all... But, just being aware of every hiccup along the way makes you that much wiser... Or so I like to think.
With that, I present the series of lessons born out of many mistakes along the way. And I wouldn't have had it any other way.
