What the hell is wrong with some of you guys?
Yesterday I watched as two douche bags actually pulled their cars over on Irving Park Road (of all places), to try and pick up women walking the sidewalk!
You have to be kidding me -- it's 2010 and we live in Chicago! What self-respecting, educated woman is going to get into a car with some guy that does that? If you know someone that would, slap her.
It worries me, the lack of respect some men have for women. I can't believe in this day and age, that men are still behaving this way. The worst? These guys HONESTLY thought they had a chance.
I have to say I was impressed in both situations. The first, a woman alone that looked as she had been out for a run: obviously told the guy to get lost and did the smartest thing you can do, turned around and started back in the opposite direction. I wasn't sure but it did look like she was heading to the gas station for safety; you never know about these creeps!
The second encounter worried me a bit. This was a group of (maybe) high school girls and they seemed intrigued by this man until one girl spoke up load and clear! She told the man he was gross and needed to go home to his wife! I loved it, I could not help not yelling a big "Hell Yeah" (okay it was more like a "You Go Girl"... I was trying to butch it up)!
So let this serve as a warning to THOSE men out there: THEY AREN'T GETTING IN YOUR CAR!!! If you are that desperate for someone, then you have issues of your own that you need to resolve, such as VERY low self-esteem!
There is no reason a grown man should be acting like a teenage horny boy, unless he is one!!! In that case, grow the hell up!
And remember guys (and douche bags)...
When in fear, ask The Queer!

I talked to a teenage girl the other day who was only slightly bothered that a guy texted her a pic of his d***. Where are people's manners?!
Amen Brotha.
Thanks for the comments! I can't believe our youth is so desensitized to these things; it truly blows my mind!
