The Central Intelligence Agency's Open Source Center scours Twitter, Facebook, newspapers, TV news channels, local radio stations, Internet chat rooms, and nearly anything people can freely contribute to according to a report from the Associated Press.
Almost everyday something from the sphere of online social activity ends up in President Obama's daily CIA briefing according to the report.
So the question arises, are you okay with the CIA following you on Twitter, Facebook, and even Chicago Now?
There is a show on CBS ... "Person of Interest" that makes reference to the capacity of various government agencies to monitor all various kinds of medium ... and that doesn't include the cameras !!!
Books by Alex Berenson, Vince Flynn and others also make reference to the ubiquitous nature of communication tracking.
