Wolves Jump Into First Place

Wolves Jump Into First Place
Ross Dettman/Chicago Wolves

With the season looking out of sorts, the Chicago Wolves were looking for some kind of balance throughout every rank of their hockey team. Over the last 15 games it looks like this team is clicking on all cylinders.

With their win against the Milwaukee Admirals last night, the Wolves moved into a tie for first place with 46 points along side the Charlotte Checkers. In what looked like an early playoff preview the Wolves got goals from Mike Davies and Bill Sweatt. With Matt Climie fighting the flu, he turned away 32 shots and looked sharp despite dealing with the illness.

A hat tip to WolfKeeper for supplying us with not only the extended highlights but the Fear Factor moment as well (7:50 mark).

Even though the entire moment wasn't shown, the aftermath was a first I've seen of a goalie getting nauseous during a game.

Color Commentator Billy Gardner described it best as could have been Glenn Hall nerves.
