The NHL Trade Deadline is at 2PM central time. Many teams will looking to make moves and build their team up for the future or make their team a strong playoff contender. The Atlanta Thrashers have assigned Michael Forney from the Chicago Wolves to the Gwinnett Gladiators. This could mean a player will be sent down from Atlanta in a few hours

Drew MacIntrye has been traded to the Montreal Canadians for defenseman Brent Festerling. MacIntrye was the topic of trade rumors a few months ago with some deals being talked about before Christmas. Nothing ever fully developed and now he got the trade he was looking for. MacIntrye was the better goalie for the team and hopefully he gets a shot in the Canadians system.
So the Wolves currently have Mannino as their number 1 while I could see a rotation of Carrozzi and Pasquale for the backup. Mannino is going to be relied on heavily for the rest of the season. His stats have been average at best but with the Playoffs in their sights he will have to steal a few wins on any given night.
