Music Industry Quarterly Magazine (MIQ) & Urban Network Digital — presented the 5th Annual Business of Music Conference 2018. The 3-day event took place on September 13-15, 2018, and returned to the Los Angeles area at the Westin Hotel Airport: 5400 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045. It was an amazing weekend of Music, Culture, and Conversation. One hundred speakers participated during the various panel sessions.

The panel offered a very balanced conversation highlighting how the PR world has evolved and has been impacted by the continual merging of media and technology. He thought the discussion was valuable for both artists and publicists as it offered tangible and actionable information.

According to the panel, it starts with a story – No matter who you are, people fall in love with and want to be connected to a story. Building genuine relationships is key – Relationships should be rooted in respect for individual’s time and their expertise.
