Tonight I met some of Chicago’s finest. They really weren't expecting me to request a picture and blog about them, but I did. It is an honor to recognize their hard work, dedication and professionalism. When I first came in to the shop, they teased me about the sweatshirt that I was wearing; jokingly stating that I would not receive an extra discount. It was their good natured humor, great service, and the ten minute conversation that followed that reminded me of the good things that exist in Chicago. I moved to Printer’s Row last year and made great relationships with the local vendors. In fact, I blogged about this same Garrett’s Popcorn location last year, because my former Principal was posted on one of their advertisement displays. Though I now live on the North Shore, I relish in the opportunity to recognize, appreciate, and support vendors in the south loop.
