Starting something new is SO exciting. However, there seems to be a resigned desire to succeed despite a small amount of fear that accompanies that excitement. Nevertheless, starting something new is an awesome experience. The pressure to succeed is a bit less than the actual excitement and the adrenaline rush that you get with you begin your new journey. It is sort of like how a runner feels when starting a race. After stretching and preparing for the race ahead, you take a deep breath as you near the start line; anticipating the best while knowing that there will be challenges ahead. As I start this new season of my life in a soon as a new wife, I am committed to positioning myself for an awesome race, while also pacing myself for the road ahead.
