I started my diet on Jan 1st. And, on Jan 14th. Again on Jan 21st. Oh, and Jan 24th. Ditto to Feb 4th and Feb 5th. And, today. I started my diet today.
In case you lost track, I started my diet 7 times in the past month and a half. Yeah, let that sink in for a minute (and yes, snicker to yourself about my Oprah-ish lack of willpower).
Now, I am an eternal optimist. My cup is always half full (usually with Dunkin Donuts coffee) but, I really feel like this 7th Day One is the ONE: the one diet that will stick. Because 7 is lucky, right? God created the world in 7 days, there are 7 seas, 007,7-11’s and my favorite 7-Up ( you have to try Diet Cherry 7Up! It’s that good!)
Am I going to do anything differently than I did on my 6 previous diet attempts? Nope. Could this mean that I am setting myself up for failure? Possibly. Either way, you will hear from me in about 10lbs…
