Last night we made history!! After all the planning, all the hard work, all the anticipation; The M.E.D.I.A. Girls Foundation Event came to fruition. One thing that we realized is event planning is hard and we are not the best at it but that was not the mission last night. Our mission was to be able to bring successful, beautiful, inspiring women to encourage young girls and that mission was successfully completed. Zondra Hughes (Rolling Out/Six Brown Chicks), Aleah Connect (WCIU Correspondent), Carmen Rivera (Chicago Magazine, En Chi), DJ Niena Drake (Power 92 Chicago), Demi Lobo (WGCI Radio Personality/ Singer), Bionce Foxx (Radio Personality/ Producer for Truestar Radio), Kristin Decker (WGN Producer), Joanna Aguirre (Chicago White Sox Publicist), Kathy Chaney (Chicago Defender) were our pack of panelist for the evening. These ladies were simply amazing! By the night was over, we had grown women inspired by their spirit. GIRL Power definitely resonated in the room...Check out our pictures below!!
