The Gentleman (and Ladies) Rejection Tasting Guide: Light, Crisp, Clean

On every life a little rain must fall and for every project a few rejection letters land in our in-box. We've become quite the connoisseurs of a good rejection; why not put this experience to good use? Thus we present for your reading pleasure: "The Gentleman (and Ladies) Rejection Tasting Guide".

"I want to thank you for your interest in [our] Summer program here at the University. At this time we have made our selections and unfortunately we have decided not to host your project this year.
We thank you for your time and effort. We wish you the best on your future endeavors."*

A light, crisp rejection with clean notes and a fresh finish. Dry with a hint of cedar and worldliness, this rejection delivers a concentrated message without embellishment and without judgement. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a rejection that says: "we're rejecting your project, it's nothing personal, and we believe you are man enough to take the news straight up." A subtle, intellectual after-note leaves the palate and finds the reader sitting up straighter in their chair.
