Okay, as of Thursday afternoon, I've got all my saved listings posted onto this article. But it's for certain a few more last-minute events will pop up. so do feel free to check back here!
Once again I'm running late getting all
these St. Patrick's weekend events posted. This is only partly due to the Facebook outage of Wednesday, where I find and save most of my events. Then our #1 Son failed to return last night from an evening at the game shop, at least 2 hours overdue. Of course he appears just as the police we called showed up at our door. Turns out he was walking one of his friends home. About 3 miles. That's the kind of thing he does.
Please note that many of these locations are doing St. Patrick's stuff all weekend long. Rather than repeat them and make this article even longer, I have tried to underline the part of the listing that mentions extra days. I still have a few more events to add, so please do check back. And generally, if all you have is "green beer," you better have a good view of the local parade ("St. Patty" and "Irish Car Bombs" will also be frowned upon).
And here's a note to check out the page of new Chicago area beer makers
coming in the near future. Click the link in the sentence just before this, or the appropriate button above this article's title...

Tax time again. Another reminder that I’ve yet to achieve my dream of being paid enough for writing about craft beer in Chicago that I can declare my beer as a business expense.
