Talking About Beerhead’s “Collab AF” February

Yeah, they say the “AF” means “All February.” I has a chance to sit with Elonzo King, Beerhead’s Beer Director at their Elmhurst restaurant, where we... Read more »

Box of Chocolates Collaboration Beer Review

Box of Chocolates Collaboration Beer Review
This past Valentine’s weekend, Chicago beer fans had a chance to try a four-way beer collaboration called “Box of Chocolates.” I got a chance myself, when my errands took me past one of the participating breweries, Skeleton Key, with a little free time. This was on Saturday the 15th, when bottled 4-packs of the beers... Read more »

In keeping with Chef Friedman's focus on seasonality, he will revamp the current menu to place more emphasis on local, sustainable food. Each menu item will be designed to complement the stellar craft beer, wine, whiskey and spirits selection at Fountainhead. Craft Beer Review-Preview: Lunar-Blue Cat Black Zemon

Today only, I get to tell you about a buzz-worthy local beer before it hits the taps in Chicago. Technically, I was trying Finch’s Golden Wing right off the canning line last week, but that’s another story. This beer is a collaboration between LunaR Brewing Co. of west suburban Villa Park, and Blue Cat Brew... Read more »
