Future Brewery Openings in the Chicago Area

Future Brewery Openings in the Chicago Area
Black Lung Brewing Logo

I've decided I need to keep a running list of places that are still in planning or scheduled to open soon. We've already had some more openings this winter, with Twisted Hippo, Black & Gray, Ike & Oak, 25 West, and others. This is a tally that I hope to update with each new brewery I learn about, and as the brewers listed below finally open their taps.

Arlington Beer Co.
19 N. Hickory St., Arlington Heights, IL
The brewery, from Itasca Brewing Co. owner Kathleen Egan, had been in the works for a few years, hanging on whether it would be required to serve food in its taproom. Latest information from Patch.

Grayslake, IL

Shaun Berns, Brewmaster, and Evan Morris, manager of More Brewing, announced their new startup in March. I had previously thought the location would be a former Chevrolet dealership off the Huntley exit of Interstate 90 (13980 Automall Dr.), but I've since been informed this location was being considered for a possible second More Brewing location.
