Update: Revolution Brewing has announced that they will be closing their Milwaukee Ave. brewpub for the winter. According to their Facebook post, they will be furloughing employees but continue to cover their health benefots for four months, by which time they hope to reopen. Their Kedzie Ave. taproom remains open for contact-free curbside pickup.
Another one: Adams Street Brewery, making beer at the Berghoff Restaurant at 17 W. Adams, and also announced they will close through the holiday season. For what it's worth, they said they had arrived at this decision before the latest shutdown was imposed.
And Motor Row Brewing's taproom on S. Michigan Ave. remains closed.
This whole beer weekend is up in the air. We do know that Lake and McHenry Counties have joined the rest of northeastern Illinois in CORONA restrictions, meaning first and foremost no indoor dining and reduced hours of operation. And the rest of the area has not yet lowered their rate enough to be eased up. Full story at this NBC5 Chicago link.
I will keep trying to update this listing as events get altered or cancelled. In this midst of this weird weekend, weireder than normal, we have the grand opening for Kishwaukee, a new brewer in Woodstock. Their opening hours, at least as of this writing, listed below.
