It's the official start of summer this weekend! Let's see if we can clear the rain away for once!
As previously announced, Moody Tongue Brewing has closed its brewery and taproom in Pilsen, and is making the move two miles east to the former Baderbräu brewery in the South Loop. By fall, they are planning to open a new space, with a full service restaurant along with a bar and taproom, within walking distance of McCormick place.
In the Tribune, Josh Noel has a piece on Englewood Brews, building out in a former furniture store at 63rd & Halsted, with plans for a brewery, tap room and public space in a Black neighborhood. More diversity among drinkers of fine beer means… more beer!
