This is an unusually busy week, so much so that I've already posted separate Black Wednesday and Black Friday calendars and now that the ChicagoNow powers-that-be have restored the ability to make posts "sticky," I can post in advance and keep the most timely posts at the top of my blogroll. And I'll be able to take the kids off to see Grandma and Grandpa.

More techno-babble you don't have to care about: The app that runs my calendar listings uses the "<iframe>" tag to embed another window inside the one you're reading. I can set its width as a percentage of the parent window (100% here); but the height has to be a set number of pixels. So depending on your browser screen size, the text either overruns the window, or doesn't quite fill it. But I've noticed that on an iPad with the latest iOS, the <iframe> window resizes to the length of the text contained in it. This was not shown in the "Responsive Design" mode of Safari or Firefox on my laptop. So I was not aware of how much better this page looked.
